"Raving" Students | Delivering stunning Education Service!

The more I hear and read about personalised education, the more similarities I see between the ideas of Ken Blanchard and those of personalised education. He has written down his ideas in "Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach to Customer Service". The values and principles he describes are comparable to those behind Kunskapskolan. The key message of Ken Blanchard is: "listen to the needs of your customer". Originally, the word 'customer' meant 'interest' and 'excitement'. What applies to a customer should therefore apply just as well to a student. Students should be encouraged to discover what their interests are; to explore which themes get them excited. A teacher should do so, not by telling them how but by listening to them in their journey of discovery.
